HISTORIC PROVENANCE
The Console Table Rococo is inspired by the opulent Rococo style, characterised by the intricate carvings of shell forms, cartouches, floral garlands, foliage, and birds on a pair of French console tables (ca. 1735–40) in The Met collection. Our design echoes the artisanship of 18th-century carpenters and carvers who remain anonymous but whose creations are celebrated to this day.
